Jason Deneen Beghe is an American actor. He starred in George A. Romero's 1988 film Monkey Shines, playing a man with quadriplegic paralysis in a well-received performance. He appeared as a policeman in the movie Thelma & Louise and played Demi Moore's lover in G.I. Jeanne. Beghe starred alongside Moira Kelly in the To Have & to Hold television series, and had recurring roles in Picket Fences, Melrose Place, Chicago Hope, American Dreams and Cane. Since 2014, he has been in the NBC Chicago P.D. starring Hank Voight. Beghe is a former scientist. He started taking courses in Science in 1994 and later appeared in a Science Church advertising campaign and promotional videos. Beghe left the sect in 2007 and has openly criticized Scientology since leaving the sect.
